Works to replace Dignams Creek Bridge with a new single-lane concrete bridge is underway.

Once piling works are complete, the existing bridge will be demolished and the road will be closed until the new bridge is complete. This is expected to take approximately three and a half months.

Following closures

  • Closures will move toward Moruya, with each closure rolling into the next
  • Full 24/7 closure at 28.6km site starting around 6 May
  • Daytime closures at the 25.4, 19.7 and 9.6km sites with dates to be advised
  • Closures will continue into June 2025
