The unsealed section of Congo Road (north) is closed where the road reserve ends at private land.

Commuters travelling to and from Congo will need to use Congo Road south and Bingie Road to access the Princes Highway.

Vehicles, including buses and emergency services, will not have access through the worksite. However, our traffic controllers will assist residents and emergency services in reaching properties within the road closure if required.

The work is subject to suitable weather conditions and could be delayed.

Commuters will be redirected along Herarde St and Heradale Pde to bypass the closed section. To avoid delays in this area, we recommend using Pacific St for access to and from Beach Rd and South St.
